Evercross Completes Another HD200 Reinforced Bailey Bridge in Nepal, Consolidating South Asian Market Presence

Recently, EVERCROSS BRIDGE TECHNOLOGY (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD. announced the successful completion and handover of its second modular steel bridge project in Nepal. This newly finished TSR3 project features a single-span HD200 reinforced Bailey bridge with a total length of 51.816 meters.

Structurally designed as a three-row single-layer reinforced system, the bridge boasts a clear carriageway width of 4.2 meters and a standard load capacity of 40 tons. The entire steel structure undergoes comprehensive hot-dip galvanizing treatment, which delivers outstanding anti-corrosion performance. The coating effectively shields the bridge from Nepal’s humid mountain climate, frequent rainfall and complex geological conditions, greatly cutting long-term maintenance costs and extending the service life of the infrastructure.

Prior to this project, Evercross had already finished installing and putting into operation the first HD200 three-row single-layer reinforced steel bridge in Nepal. The two successive completed projects have built a solid practical reference for local transportation upgrading. Nepal is crisscrossed by mountain valleys, where traditional cast-in-place bridges face bottlenecks such as long construction cycles and tough component transportation. Our modular Bailey bridges adopt standardized prefabricated parts, enabling rapid on-site assembly without complicated welding work, perfectly fitting local rugged construction environments.

The completion of the 51.816-meter long-span heavy-duty galvanized bridge marks a milestone for Evercross in Nepal, shifting our local business from single trial projects to replicable mature solutions. Two fully operational bridges serve as tangible demonstration samples for local authorities and engineering clients, greatly boosting brand credibility.
